Symphony No. 3 'Eroica'

Recorded in 1978 this was Carlo Maria Giulini’s first recording in his partnership with the LA Philharmonic, a relationship spanning from 1978 to 1984. Complete with all repetition’s performed, Giulini really unleashes the enormity of this work and treats it with an ambition that pairs perfectly with the focus and intricacy that Beethoven applied to this Symphony, particularly within the string work.
