Triple Concerto & Symphony No. 7

Anne-Sophie Mutter, Yo-Yo Ma and Daniel Barenboim, three of today’s most renowned classical artists and Beethoven interpreters, celebrate the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth with a recording of the Triple Concerto paired with the Seventh Symphony. The recordings were made at concerts in Buenos Aires and Berlin in July and October 2019, respectively, marking the 20th anniversary of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra. The year also marks 40 years since the release of the legendary Triple Concerto recording by Mutter and Ma under Herbert von Karajan in 1980. Listen to a pre-release track of the second movement of the Triple Concerto. The album was released internationally for download and streaming, as well as for Visual Streaming, on April 3. The CD, LP and Blu-ray video followed on May 8.
